Anxiety Counseling is working with the client to process the client thought content and process that creates the anxiety . The therapist work with the client to find healthy solutions to the challenge. Anxiety refers to a feeling of worry, unease, or nervousness about something. Anxiety is a normal reaction to danger. Anxiety disorder is pervasive anxiety, and the anxiety turns to occur more frequently than is necessary or normal. Sometimes people have no idea why they feel the way they are feeling or what it is about that they are afraid of. Other times they are aware of imminent danger, whether real or imagined. Most times, people with anxiety will feel restless, uneasy, or afraid for a good reason or no apparent reason.

Therapy helps the client identify the root causes of the anxiety. Sometimes people think they know the cause of their anxiety, which may be far from the truth. The client may have an understanding and awareness of the triggers. Therapy helps the person develop a greater awareness of the causes and the triggers of the anxiety. Awareness is the first step to resolving anxiety during anxiety therapy and counseling. After awareness, the therapist will work with the client in developing strategies and treatment to overcome the anxiety.
